    WHEREAS, the County of McHenry had undertaken a program to collect delinquent taxes and to perfect titles to real property in cases where the taxes on same have not been paid pursuant to 35 ILCS 200/21-90; and

    WHEREAS, pursuant to said program, the County of McHenry has acquired an interest in the real estate described in the attached information; and

    WHEREAS, according to your Finance and Audit Committee that it would be in the best interest of the County to dispose of its interest in said property; and

    WHEREAS, the parties in the attached information have offered the amounts shown and the distribution of these amounts have been determined as stated; and

    WHEREAS, the Finance and Audit Committee recommends the adoption of this Resolution.

    NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the County Board of McHenry County, Illinois, that the Chairman is hereby authorized to either execute a deed of conveyance of the County's interest or authorize a cancellation of the appropriate certificates of purchase, whatever the case may be, relative to the real estate described below, and in the attached information for the amounts shown, to be disbursed according to law (said information sheets attached hereto and made part hereof); and

    The staff of Valley Hi routinely purchases medical equipment, resident room and common area furnishings, parts, and other resident and facility needs from Direct Supply, Inc. Medline Medical and Professional Medical are Valley Hi’s current contracted providers for routine medical supplies, but do not always have equipment or parts which need to be purchased through an alternative source. Often Valley Hi staff cannot anticipate what items would be needed for purchase until a resident or facility need occurs. Valley Hi personnel will continue to follow the County’s Purchasing Ordinance to obtain pricing, quotes, or RFP's for purchases as warranted and will use the lowest cost provider that can meet the need at that time.

    WHEREAS, in order to augment the McHenry County Division of Transportation's litter collection efforts, McHenry County enacted the McHenry County Adopt-A-Highway Ordinance to allow for volunteer groups to adopt various sections of highways for the purpose of litter collection; and

    WHEREAS, the Adopt-A-Highway Ordinance requires said volunteer group(s) to enter into an agreement with McHenry County defining the responsibilities of the volunteer groups and the County; and

    WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee has reviewed the following groups for inclusion in the Adopt-A-Highway Program:

    BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Clerk is hereby directed to transmit one certified copy of this resolution to the Director of Transportation/County Engineer.

    WHEREAS, the County of McHenry utilizes ProjectWise for cloud-based document management; and

    WHEREAS, the County of McHenry will use ProjectWise for all existing and new consultant engineering projects to increase efficiencies and save stall and on consultant time; and

    WHEREAS, ProjectWise is a transportation industry standard document management system that is used by consultants that do work for the County, the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority (ISTHA), and the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT); and

    WHEREAS, the purchase of ProjectWise software and services is recommended by the Division of Transportation and Director of Purchasing, and the Director of Purchasing confirmed the proprietary nature of ProjectWise's cloud-based application, and this resolution has been reviewed by the Transportation Committee.

    NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by this County Board of McHenry County, Illinois that there is hereby appropriated from the FY2023 budget the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) from the Highway Fund; Fund-Dept.-Div.-Main Acct. 205-82-8205-432100 (Computer Technology/ Equipment) for said purchase; and

    BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that there is hereby appropriated from the FY2024 budget the sum of fifty thousand dollars ($52,500.00) from the Highway Fund, Fund-Dept.-Div.-Main Acct. 205-82-8205-432100 (Computer Software Support and Maintenance) and there is hereby appropriated from the FY2025 budget the sum of fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000.00) for said annual software maintenance; and

    BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Clerk is hereby authorized to distribute a certified copy of this resolution to the Director of Purchasing, the Information Technology Director and an electronic copy to the Director of Transportation/County Engineer.
